Overhead view of one arrangement of woodworking vise positions. A woodworking vise holds work in its jaws, or compressed against a bench dog or holdfast.Holes to receive these stops or clamps are typically drilled in line with a vise in 3-4" intervals, with others added to the benchtop to serve various purposes.
A leg vise. Probably the oldest front vise design is the leg vise, which uses one of the bench's legs as its inside jaw. The outside jaw also goes nearly to the floor. A single is screw mounted between a quarter and a third of the way down that goes through both jaws.
In most instances the "end caps" and the "shoulder vise arm" are significantly thicker than is shown above. Indeed, this shoulder vice and its "arm" appear to be incomplete. A workbench is a sturdy table at which manual work is done. They range from simple flat surfaces to very complex designs that may be considered tools in themselves.
The table does not include software that is still in development (beta software). For all-purpose 3D programs, see Comparison of 3D computer graphics software. CAD refers to a specific type of drawing and modelling software application that is used for creating designs and technical drawings.
Following is a list of notable 3D modeling software, computer programs used for developing a mathematical representation of any Three Dimensional surface of objects, also called 3D modeling. Title License
Interactive geometry software (IGS) or dynamic geometry environments (DGEs) are computer programs which allow one to create and then manipulate geometric constructions, primarily in plane geometry. In most IGS, one starts construction by putting a few points and using them to define new objects such as lines , circles or other points.

SketchUp was developed by startup company @Last Software of Boulder, Colorado, co-founded in 1999 by Brad Schell and Joe Esch. [5] [6] SketchUp was created in August 2000 as a 3D content creation tool and was envisioned as a software program for design professionals.
