ACC’s nursing programs provide multiple pathways into nursing, from vocational nursing to registered nursing. Students learn critical patient-care skills along with the high level of communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills necessary to excel in the profession.
A student can enter the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program via the Traditional Track (non-licensed people), Mobility Track (licensed or certified people), Alternate Entry (Vocational Nursing graduates), or Transfer. New students are accepted into the program in Fall and Spring.
After completing the CastleBranch requirements (green checks = clearance), minimum GPA of 2.7 in 4 prerequisites (GPA is not rounded), and passing the TEAS Test, you should download your application for Associate Degree Nursing – Traditional Track:
The Nursing Field of Study Curriculum is intended for generic baccalaureate degree nursing students who plan to take their prerequisite and core curriculum courses at a community college and transfer the block of courses to a general academic teaching institution or health related institution.
