Uniontown Historic District is a national historic district at Uniontown, Carroll County, Maryland, United States.The district comprises nearly the entirety of Uniontown and contains a remarkably cohesive and well-preserved collection of houses, commercial buildings, churches, and schools reflecting the development of this agricultural village from the turn of the 19th century through the 1930s.
It was built in 1901, and is a large 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, brick dwelling with a two-story rear wing added in 1967.The house is in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, with Chateauesque elements.
This district includes 113 contributing buildings and one contributing site that are located in the central business district of Uniontown. Most of the contributing buildings were built between 1881 and 1932 and are representative of a number of popular architectural styles, including Classical Revival, Moderne, Late Victorian, and Georgian.

After the opening of the new church building in 1912, the previous wooden building was converted into a parochial school. [2] The school, which eventually moved into a larger building behind the current church, operated until the end of the 2010–2011 school year when it was merged with Saint John the Evangelist Regional Catholic School, also in Uniontown.
Buona began expanding rapidly in 2015, with five restaurants under construction or contract. Given that Uniontown was settled by ethnic Germans the name of the church reflects its German heritage, being dedicated to Saint Boniface, the German apostle.
