Kaguya Shinomiya (四宮 かぐや, Shinomiya Kaguya) is the titular character of the manga series Kaguya-sama: Love Is War by Aka Akasaka. She serves as the student council vice president of Shuchiin Academy and comes from the wealthy Shinomiya family.

The Kaguya-sama: Love Is War manga series features an extensive cast of characters created by Aka Akasaka.The story takes place in senior high of Shuchiin Academy, and follows the student council president Miyuki Shirogane and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya as they come with many schemes to make the other confess their love due to both of them being too proud to do so.
Chika gives the other Student Council members a psych test from a magazine, but Kaguya plans ahead to turn it into an advantage over Miyuki. Ai Hayasaka, Kaguya's personal assistant and schoolmate, tries to improve Kaguya's personal image by doing her nails, making her feel extra self-conscious the next day.

Kaguya offers to give Miyuki a hand massage as an apology for the underwear misunderstanding, but she also has ulterior motives to increase his sexual interest in her. Miyuki, Yu, and Chika read an especially emotional shōjo manga and try to convince Kaguya to do the same.
The series' final antagonist, Kaguya Otsutsuki, is based on Kaguya Hime. Similar to the references of the Sharingans, Kaguya also references Japanese mythology, with both Sasuke and Naruto being the descendants of her children in a similar fashion to Amaterasu, the powerful Goddess of the Sun, and Susanoo, the God of thunder.
