Clear Creek State Park is a 1,211.19-acre (490.15 ha) Pennsylvania state park in Barnett and Heath Townships, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania in the United States. Public campsites were first opened at the park in 1922.

Shamokin was established in central Pennsylvania by Lenape who were displaced from their traditional homeland along the Delaware river by growing colonial communities in the early 18th century. The earliest reference to thec town is in 1711, when the Shawnee chief Opessa Straight Tail is recorded as marrying Polly, the daughter of Sassoonan .
Clearfield Creek joins the West Branch 2 miles (3 km) to the east (downstream) of town. U.S. Route 322 passes through the borough, and Interstate 80 passes just to the north, with access from Exit 120 (Pennsylvania Route 879). Via US-322 and I-80, it is 22 miles (35 km) northwest to the city of DuBois.
The United States Office of Management and Budget [17] has designated Clearfield County as the DuBois, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area (μSA). As of the 2010 census [ 18 ] the micropolitan area ranked sixth most populous in the State of Pennsylvania and the 65th most populous in the United States, with a population of 81,642.
