Waterloo—Wellington federal riding was created in 1996 from parts of Guelph—Wellington, Kitchener, Perth—Wellington—Waterloo, Waterloo and Wellington—Grey—Dufferin—Simcoe ridings. It was abolished in 2003, and divided between Cambridge , Kitchener—Conestoga , Perth Wellington and Wellington—Halton Hills ridings.
The Regional Municipality of Waterloo (Waterloo Region or Region of Waterloo) is a metropolitan area of Southern Ontario, Canada. It contains the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo (KWC or Tri-Cities), and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich. Kitchener, the largest city, is the seat of government.

Elmira is the largest community in the township of Woolwich, Ontario, Canada.
