For the next track, "Imaginary Heroes", Melanie picks up on the MOR of most of side one for a sad tale of child abuse. The album closes with the Air Supply cover, "Chances", a slick ballad, which was Air Supply's stock in trade. It's obvious the Schekeryks were aiming for the Adult Contemporary market with Arabesque.

Each of us received a copy for Melanie to autograph. I still have it. She wrote in large fluid script "To Mike, Love Melanie" and then drew a large flower on the cover.
