It has nothing to do with the performance of the battery or of its warranty. All HP products come with 1 Year manufacturer's warranty. It does imply the same for the battery. If it's for HP's internal purpoe then why is it mentioned as "warranty type: 3" including the word warranty and which is within the HP Battery check tool box (and also in the BIOS). I don't know what hp is hidding. PLease don't try to hide this information.
