Los Angeles FC. Los Angeles Football Club, commonly referred to as Los Angeles FC or LAFC, is an American professional soccer club based in Los Angeles. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the Western Conference. It was established on October 30, 2014, and began play during the 2018 season as an expansion team.
