It was my choice to have a socket; that way, I reasoned; if I ever got a car with a different hole in it, my charger wouldn't be redundant/need any changes making to it.

    www.avforums.com/reviews/the-firm-4k-blu-ray-review.20901

The Firm 4K Blu-ray Review. A superb blend of well-informed legal corruption and atypical Hollywood justice all wrapped up in a thoroughly thrilling package, The Firm remains one of the finest book-to-movie adaptations (Robert Towne's screenplay ending, for many, being superior to that of the book), boasting an all-star cast with Cruise ...

  8. Wolfs (Apple TV+) Movie Review - AVForums

    www.avforums.com/reviews/wolfs-apple-tv-review.22157

Aiming for a sub-90s QT-esque tone updated for a sleeker, more modern vibe, an opening accident involving a politician, a dead body and a desperate call to someone to help ‘fix’ the situation, everything about the film has the whiff of a very sanitised Tarantino variant. Clooney arrives to help only to find that Pitt, another fixer, this ...

  11. The Penguin (Sky) Premiere TV Show Review | AVForums

    www.avforums.com/reviews/the-penguin-2024-sky-premiere-tv-show-review.22138

The Penguin rests entirely on the shoulders of Farrell who, once again, is utterly unrecognisable, and utterly fantastic in the role. Farrell's nuanced, old-school, at-times-clumsy, at-times-vicious, and strangely principled Oz is a fascinating character (particularly in his interactions with Deirdre O'Connell's magnificent, monstrous, dementia ...
