Norwell c.1676 The original portion of this house was built sometime around 1676 by tanner John Turner Sr. for his sons, Jonathan and Joseph. It eventually fell under the ownership of Dr. Cushing Otis in 1803. Otis extensively remodeled the house in 1806 by adding ten feet to the west of the original structure, creating a sixth bay.
