GSC Game World hopes to release Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl next year.
Specifically the subtitles for the 1st and 3rd games in the franchise were renamed to "Shadow of Chornobyl" and "Call of Prypiat" (earlier in March 2022 the subtitle for the 4th game was also renamed to "Heart of Chornobyl"). This way Ukrainian city Chornobyl is spelled the same in both 1st and 4th instalment in the game.
