The Redstone Building, home of the River Music Experience. The Redstone Building was originally the longtime home of the Petersen Harned Von Maur flagship store [1]. Common Chord formally known as the River Music Experience is a multi-use music facility and 501(c)3 non-profit organization located on the first two floors of the historic Redstone Building in downtown Davenport, Iowa.
Together they formed a convention and entertainment complex for the Quad City area. The facility offered 20,500 square feet (1,900 m 2) of space in a large hall and six breakout rooms. An atrium was built over what was Perry Street. Minimalist artist Sol LeWitt was commissioned to provide artwork for the RiverCenter.

The Davenport Skybridge is a pedestrian cable-stayed bridge [5] that spans River Drive in downtown Davenport, Iowa. It connects LeClaire Park to a courtyard and parking ramp on 2nd Street, located near the River Music Experience. The bridge, completed in 2005, is 50 feet (15 m) tall, 575 feet (175 m) long, and features 99 feet (30 m) columns.
In 1936 the Junior Board was begun to sponsor fundraising projects for the symphony. In 1957 the Tri-City Symphony Auxiliary was formed as another support for it. The group was renamed the Guild of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra after the change of names. Both organizations merged to form Volunteers for Symphony in 1996.
