Gideon Spiro in 2008. Ralph Gideon-Yaakov Spiro (Hebrew: גדעון ספירו; September 8, 1935 – January 29, 2025) was an Israeli journalist and left-wing activist.A survivor of the November 1938 Kristallnacht pogrom in Berlin, he was a senior campaigner for human rights, prominently involved in public acts against the distribution of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East.
