Fyffe was born on 20 March 1949 in Warracknabeal, Victoria. [3] [4] He attended primary school in Cannum and Caramut, before going to high school in Hamilton. [4]After finishing high school, Fyffe went on to study at Monash University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics.

A 1988 graduate of Auburn University, Bramblett was the lead announcer for Auburn baseball for 11 seasons before he was chosen to succeed the late Jim Fyffe as lead announcer for Auburn football and men's basketball on June 23, 2003. [1]

[5] He was General Manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Chief Operating Officer of ITV Digital in the UK (which went into bankruptcy while he was at the helm) and group general manager of Air New Zealand.

James William Fyffe (November 20, 1945 – May 15, 2003) was an American sportscaster and radio talk-show host. He was best known as the play-by-play announcer for Auburn Tigers football and basketball .
Fyfe was born in Kirkcaldy on 25 September 1930, the son of Douglas Fyfe, a watchmaker, and Mary Fyfe née Irvine. He attended Kirkcaldy High School, [3] before studying English literature at the University of Edinburgh.
