St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic church building in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, just north of the Germantown neighborhood. Mercy Hospital in Springfield was developed from mission of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul. In 1875, Pius IX elevated the Diocese of Boston to the Archdiocese of Boston. [6] He transferred the Diocese of Springfield from the Archdiocese of New York to the new archdiocese. [5] O’Reilly died on May 28, 1892.
