Kusuo Saiki (Japanese: 斉木 楠雄, Hepburn: Saiki Kusuo) is a fictional character and the protagonist in the Japanese manga series The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. created by Shūichi Asō. He is a high school student at PK Academy and possesses psychic abilities.
He once got Kusuo, who was disguised as a cat known as Psi, to aid him in trying to woo a female cat Pushi. (Japanese voiced by Hisako Kanemoto; English by Dawn M. Bennett) Instead, Anpu was mistaken for a pervert and to make it worse she instead fell for Psi, the cat version of Kusuo. Pushi and Anpu now stay in front of Saiki's house.
Kusuo Saiki is a high school student who was born with all sorts of psychic abilities from levitation to telepathy. Instead of trying to take advantage of his powers in any way possible, he finds the powers to be annoying, and tries to keep them a secret in order to live a normal life.
