La Louvière (French pronunciation: [la luvjɛʁ] ⓘ; Walloon: El Lovire) is a city and municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Hainaut, Belgium.. The municipality consists of the following districts: Boussoit, Haine-Saint-Paul, Haine-Saint-Pierre, Houdeng-Aimeries, Houdeng-Gœgnies, La Louvière, Maurage, Saint-Vaast, Strépy-Bracquegnies, and Trivières.
In 2011, it moved from Stade Raymond Dienne, Haine-Saint-Pierre to Stade du Tivoli, La Louvière as R.A.A. Louviéroise went into liquidation in 2009. The team was originally known as Union Royale Sportive du Centre or URS Centre but this was changed to the current name in 2011. [1] It is playing in the third division A since 2008–09.
Today, Trivières is 731 hectares (1,810 acres) in size, and is part of the municipality of La Louvière. Trivières was itself a municipality until the fusion of the Belgian municipalities. [1] Before it was restructured in the 1970s, it had a population of 3,635 people. Afterwards, in 1996, it had a population of 3,704 people. [3]

The Stade Communal du Tivoli is a multi-use stadium in La Louvière, Belgium. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It was the home ground of R.A.A. Louviéroise. The stadium holds 12,500 people [2] and was built in 1972. UR La Louvière Centre are its current tenants.
