Woburn Forest Plaza Dome. Center Parcs Woburn Forest is located on the outskirts of Flitwick and Ampthill, 7–8 miles (11–13 km) from the village of Woburn in Bedfordshire in the UK. It commenced operation in July 2014 and hence it became the second Center Parcs resort off of the M1 motorway (the first being Center Parcs Sherwood Forest).

Sherwood Forest is the remnants of an ancient royal forest in Nottinghamshire, England, having a historic association with the legend of Robin Hood. The area has been wooded since the end of the Last Glacial Period (as attested by pollen sampling cores ).

In 1914, there was a place called Sherwood Forest where Cochran began clearing trees to build a bucolic summer resort for middle-class families. 341 homes were built in the planned community along with a golf course, clubhouse, softball field, general store, post office, swimming pool, bowling alley, library, pier, marina, and tennis courts.
In 1987, Center Parcs opened its first UK resort at Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. This brought the company into the sights of expanding brewer Scottish and Newcastle, which later bought the group. In 2001, the UK locations separated from the continental Europe locations and formed a separate company, Center Parcs UK. [1]
Sherwood Forest is an area within the town of Becket, Massachusetts. Originally established as a vacation community in the 1960s, the Sherwood Forest Road Maintenance District was established in 1982 with the approval of the Massachusetts State Senate and signed into existence by Governor of Massachusetts Edward J.
