July 2022. I've attended/planned a few virtual showers and plan on having a virtual baby shower with family and hybrid with friends. (Also had a hybrid bridal shower and first wedding celebration was virtual, so my family and friends are used to it!) There are games that work in that setting and/or you can open gifts.
Have any of you been to a virtual one or have thoughts of doing your own shower virtually? I've been to two. My impression for both of them was that it was nice to keep it short (30-40m) and it was good that they didn't do the gift opening on the call. They both focused on baby games and one had a slide show of the parents when they were babies.

My sister lives in So America. I lived in FL for 10 years and just moved to IL about a year ago.
1. I had everyone write their address on one of the thank you envelopes. I put those in a bag & SIL picked one. That person won a little gift. 2. I bought 6 inch quilt squares & had everyone draw on the square. It could have been a picture, a saying, anything. The squares will be sewn together for a quilt for the baby.

And while she opens presents you can have a timer set to go off every couple of minutes and whomever's gift she is opening when it goes off gets a prize.
