Hoora (Arabic: الحورة) a district of Manama, the capital of Bahrain.. Along with the Central Business District, Adliya, and Juffair, Hoora is considered one of Manama's nightlife centres, with many bars, hotels, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs (both Arabic and Western), and it is very popular among visitors from Saudi Arabia.

Bahar rose to celebrity status in Muharraq, Bahrain's third largest city, where his father was a fisherman. He also lived in Sharjah, where he had several friends and continues to have many supporters. [1] His music band, Al Ekhwa which he formed in 1986 [3] helped boost his popularity. He was the lead singer, guitarist and organist in the band.
