Christleton High School is a large academy school located in the small village of Christleton on the outskirts of Chester, England. The Headteacher is Kevin Smith. [ 4 ] The School offers education from age 11 to 18 and has its own Sixth Form.
Galashiels Academy is the high school in Galashiels, Scotland, that serves the surrounding area including Stow. Refounded in 1938, the school's history goes back as far as 1696. [ 1 ] The current building was built in 1964.
The school changed its name to Leith Academy in 1888. The Leith Links school was demolished and replaced by a new building opened in 1898. In turn, due to continued growth in the number of pupils, by 1931 a new building was required and the school on the Duke Street site was built. The Links building is now used as Leith Primary School.

In recent times, it has become the "partner school" of Trinity Catholic High School and Ilford Jewish Primary School. In 2004/5, there were 843 pupils, including 245 in the sixth form, and 88 members of staff, including 63 teachers. The Headmaster, from 1993, was Mr S I Devereux who retired in December 2009.
