Re: 1996 Crestliner Sportfish ? Refurbish w/ pics and questions Looks like mass destruction,,, I like it! My 01 Superhawk also had a serious fuel leak. There was/is a USCG recall on certain models because the aluminum mounting brackets can cut into the tank. I called Crestliner and they sent me a replacement tank for free.
Re: Fisher boats vs. Lund, Crestliner, Alumacraft, etc.? My own Tracker was Ok. It was the standard issue "Pro Team" bass boat. Good bang-for-the-buck. But one was enuf for me. The newer Tracker TARGA models are a substantial improvement over the entry level Trackers. Frankly I would much rather have a Tracker Targa than a Crestliner.
1. Jan 23, 2008. #1. Hi, I have been looking at the G3 and the Crestliner modified v's 17' - 18'. They both have their pro's and cons including the motor. Both dealers say theirs is the best... Has any of you researched these boats or what is your opinion on either manufacturer. Thanks.
Re: Crestliner vs Lund. A friend of Mine just bought a Brand NEW Lund. $24,000 for a fishing boat is a little MUCH. But this Boat is Loaded. The wide body of this boat is Like a much larger Boat & the Gun wale is about 8 in. wide. Large enough to sit on. This Boat has all the Bells & Whistles on it.
11. Feb 1, 2012. #1. Hi folks well I found another classic aluminum boat to rebuild . It is a 1974 CRESTLINER NORSEMAN DC 19 outboard , and it's in pretty good shape ! I got it without an outboard , but it came on a sweet 2006 galvy roller trailer , price $900 .

Oct 31, 2009. #14. Re: Riveted Starcraft vs. Welded Crestliner? Either construction method can produce a quality boat. What's important is the design, materials and build quality. I don't know much about Crestliners but there are enough 30+ year old aluminum Starcrafts on the water to safely say, they make a good boat.

We meet and fish out of Bodega Bay California (movie the Birds) and travel up to 30 miles up the coast or 26 miles out to sea.
Re: Help determining year of crestliner boat. Typically the last 2 digits of the HIN number represent the year of the hull. Thus I'd guess yours is manufactured in 1977 <maybe>.<br /><br />Can't help you with the wheels. Good luck.
