In 2020, FIYAH produced the inaugural FIYAHCON, a virtual convention held 17–18 October to "celebrate the perspectives and contributions of BIPOC in speculative fiction". FIYAH also created the Ignyte Awards to celebrate efforts towards inclusion and diversity within speculative fiction, the first 15 of which were awarded at FIYAHCON. [14]
