During its time in Vietnam the unit provided air traffic and GCA services at the Đông Hà Combat Base, Khe Sanh Combat Base, Quảng Trị Combat Base and Vandegrift Combat Base. MATCU-62 departed Vietnam on 20 February 1970 relocating to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan.
