Lakeline Mall is a super-regional shopping mall located in north Austin, Texas, at the intersection of RR 620 and US 183. Although the mall has a Cedar Park postal code, it is physically within the City of Austin. It has 1,099,420 square feet (102,139 m 2) of gross leasable area. [1]
In June 1977, Melvin Simon & Associates announced the development of a shopping mall on a 104-acre (42 ha) tract of land along Texas State Highway Loop 360 in southwest Austin. Initial plans called for over 1 million sq ft (93,000 m 2) of retail space and parking capacity for nearly 6,000 cars, which would make the mall the largest in Austin.

Valley View Center is a former mall located at Interstate 635 and Preston Road in north Dallas, Texas, U.S. [4] It is owned and managed by Dallas-based Beck Ventures. The mall was formerly home to anchor stores that were once JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Dillard's. The demolition of the mall was completed in May 2023. [5]
