My script has been requested -Zero Gravity Management. Hello community, last year (December) I optioned my script to Zero Gravity Management through their query submissions, and over the weekend they reached back out and asked me to send in my script and sign the submission release form. I did some digging and they are legit however I wanted to ...

After starting my journey of "trying to be a pro writer" at the end of 2018, I'm thrilled to announce that I've been offered (and I accepted) a representation offer from Zero Gravity Management (Ozark, The Accountant, etc). Industrial Scripts calls them " one of the biggest names in the literary management business.

  4. Anyone here repped by Zero Gravity? Are you happy?

I used to be repped by ZG. Loved my manager, but he is no longer with the company, unfortunately. He left due to 1) getting a nice vertical opportunity at a major studio and 2) bc he didn't like the ZG approach to management. I felt like everything flowed through Mark Williams -- if he liked your stuff, there was movement on it.

I've queried elsewhere where the turnaround time is 48 hrs but I've heard the process of securing management sometimes takes months. Zero Gravity is notorious for responding to a almost every query with a read request, and then ghosting the vast, vast majority of those people who send scripts in.

  6. ‘Copshop’ Screenwriter Sues Zero Gravity Management

    www.reddit.com/r/Screenwriting/comments/t9z05i/copshop...

Screenwriter Nick May in 2021 sued the Ozark co-creator for stealing writing credits on Blacklight. The case quickly settled with May being credited for the movie. Yiiiiikes. It’s not all that uncommon for larger management companies to command 15% in the event a writer doesn’t have an agent.

They request everyone’s scripts but I doubt they read them all. I would just move on and not hang out waiting for their response. When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again.

Scroll down for resources, mod and verification applications, and more. Time line to hear back from Zero Gravity? I just started sending out query letters to multiple agencies, and Zero Gravity has been the only one I've heard back from so far requesting my script in full. I know that they read a massive volume of scripts and don't send ...

  11. Questions about a form for submitting material : r/Screenwriting...

    www.reddit.com/r/Screenwriting/comments/ydefkm/questions...

I was asked to submit a screenplay to Zero Gravity Management (very excited) but theres a form they ask you to sign. Most of it seems pretty normal, some verbiage about how "I wrote it". But theres some iffy language about the rights of the material that scare me. I obviously don't want to give them the rights to my work.
