Otis College of Art and Design is a private art and design school in Los Angeles, California, United States. [1] Established in 1918, it was the city's first independent professional school of art. [2] The main campus is located in the former IBM Aerospace headquarters at 9045 Lincoln Boulevard in Westchester, Los Angeles.
The school began granting Bachelor's and Master's degrees in arts in 1949, and was fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in 1955. In 1965, the school changed its name to Art Center College of Design. The school expanded its programs, including a film program in 1973.
Buck was founded in 2004 [1] by Jeff Ellermeyer, Ryan Honey, and Orion Tait in Los Angeles as a motion graphics and animation company. In 2006, they opened their second office in New York, headed by Tait. [3]
