Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar (born 11 September 1970) is a Nigerian air marshal who currently serves as the Chief of the Air Staff of Nigeria, appointed by President Bola Tinubu on 19 June 2023, succeeding Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao.
The post was created in 1963 with Colonel Gerhard Kahtz of the German Air Force as the first incumbent. The current and 22nd chief of the air staff is Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, who succeeded Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao in June 2023.
