The Safi-Aqaba Highway is a highway on the Jordan side of the Jordan–Israel border. Totaling 187 kilometres (116 mi) in length, it connects Safi, on the south end of the Dead Sea, with Aqaba, on the north end of the Red Sea. RSEA started the project in 1974 and finished it in 1977. [2]
