Mary Fallin (/ ˈ f æ l ɪ n /; née Copeland; born December 9, 1954) [1] is an American politician who served as the 27th governor of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, she was elected in 2010 and reelected in 2014.
William Gene Fallin [1] (September 9, 1932 – January 4, 2025) was an American politician from the state of Georgia. He served as a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives from 1967 to 1971.
Fallin was the first Republican to win Atoka County, Choctaw County, Coal County, Haskell County, Hughes County, Johnston County, Latimer County, LeFlore County, McCurtain County, Okfuskee County, Pittsburg County, and Pushmataha County in a gubernatorial election since Oklahoma statehood.
