David Miller (born April 14, 1973) is an American tenor. Since 2004, he has been a member of the successful classical crossover group Il Divo , who have sold over 30 million copies worldwide. [ 1 ] As well, Miller shared a Tony Award with the other members of the ensemble cast of Baz Luhrmann 's 2002 revival of La bohème in 2003.
Il Divo was composed of four singers: [4] former child performer, television and recording artist, and classical baritone Carlos Marin, born in Germany but raised in Spain; two classically trained tenors, Urs Bühler from Switzerland, and David Miller from the USA; and pop singer-songwriter Sébastien Izambard, from France.

Izambard said to himself "Je ne regrette rien (I have nothing to lose)", [11] accepted and devoted himself in the global musical quartet Il Divo in December 2003, along with Urs Bühler (Switzerland), David Miller (US) and Carlos Marín (Spain). Izambard is the only member of the group who is not classically trained.

In December 2003, Bühler became a member of the international musical quartet Il Divo along with Carlos Marín (Spain), Sébastien Izambard (France), and David Miller (United States). He had an informal first audition with the group's creator, Simon Cowell. In Cowell's office, he simply asked Bühler to sing for him unaccompanied.
