North West Secondary School is a secondary school in Mabaruma, capital town of the Barima-Waini region in northern Guyana. [1] The school was established in 1965, being the only secondary school in the region until the establishment of Santa Rosa school in 1992. The North West of South Africa is governed in a parliamentary system in which the people elect the North West Provincial Legislature and the legislature elects the premier as head of the executive. The premier leads a cabinet of MECs overseeing various executive departments. The provincial government is subject to the Constitution of South Africa.
The primary aim of the NWUA was to act as an organisation through which the universities of the North West can identify common goals, and thus move forward together through collaborative action, thereby maximising their contribution to the social, economic and cultural life of the North West of England and managing to develop partnerships with business, industry and public bodies in this process.
