Brooklet is a city in Bulloch County, Georgia, United States. It is located roughly 9 miles (14 km) east of Statesboro. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 1,704. It is the home of the Southeast Bulloch School system. It is located along US Highway 80. The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Brooklet as a town in 1906. [4]
By 1935 the Statesboro library had moved out of the high school and into the county courthouse. In order to better serve the surrounding towns at large the town of Bulloch set forth a campaign to raise $2,000 to renovate the county courthouse and therefore enlarge the library.
