The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was an annual women's volleyball competition created in 1993. The men's version of the competition was called World League.This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.

Stacey "Nuvey" Nuveman-Deniz (born April 26, 1978) is an American softball coach and former player who is the head coach of the San Diego State Aztecs softball team at San Diego State University (SDSU). [1] She played for the UCLA Bruins at the catcher position on-and-off from 1997 to 2002, winning a national championship in 1999.
Faraimo attended Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California where she was a two-sport star, playing volleyball for three years, and softball for four years. As a junior in 2017, she went 27–1 with a 0.60 earned run average (ERA) and 251 strikeouts in 175 + 1 ⁄ 3 innings to help lead CCHS to a CIF-SDS Open Division title, as well as a Western League championship.
