Finally, consider adding a hidden comment to the target section so that future editors who edit the title of that section know they must search for and fix all incoming links, for example: <!-- The article ArticleName links to this section. Should the section's title change, fix now mistargeted wikilinks, or use the {{subst:Anchor|}} template ...
To put an article in a category, place a link like [[Category: Example]] into the article. As with interlanguage links, placing these links at the end of the article is recommended. To link to a category page without putting the article into the category, use a colon prefix (":Category") in the link.
Some tags that resemble HTML are actually MediaWiki parser and extension tags, and so are actually wiki markup. HTML included in pages can be validated for HTML5 compliance by using validation. Note that some elements and attributes supported by MediaWiki and browsers have been deprecated by HTML5 and should no longer be used.
A piped link is an internal link or interwiki link where the link target and link label are both specified. This is needed in the case that they are not equal, while also the link label is not equal to the link target with the last word extended:

Once you have made the template—for example Template:foo—you can add {{foo}} to the pages that you want to use it on. Every page using this template uses the same boilerplate text each time that a user visits it. When the template is updated, all pages containing the template tag are automatically updated.
