This is a list of acts of the Parliament of the United Kingdom passed in 2024. Acts passed since 1963 are cited by calendar year, [ 1 ] as opposed to the convention used for earlier acts of citing the regnal year(s) in which the relevant parliamentary session was held. [ 2 ]
On a legislative calendar, a "legislative day" is a day on which the Legislature actually meets. The Virginia General Assembly has six legislative days per week (Monday through Saturday), probably reflecting the desire to have a citizen legislature that accomplishes its business in a relatively short, intense annual session, after which the members return to their full-time employment.

Acts of the last session of the Parliament of Great Britain and the first session of the Parliament of the United Kingdom are both cited as "41 Geo. 3". Acts passed from 1963 onwards are simply cited by calendar year and chapter number. All modern acts have a short title, e.g. the Local Government Act 2003.
