State Road 50A (SR 50A) is a former segment of SR 50 that runs primarily along West and East Jefferson Street, entirely in the city of Brooksville in the State of Florida. Like its parent route, it is signed east–west. The road begins at the intersection of SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard, including the realigned section) and CR 485 (Cobb Road).
County Road 493 is entirely Sunshine Grove Road, although it briefly runs concurrent with a local street named Hexam Road. It runs from State Road 50 at the west end of Twin Dolphin Road on the border of Spring Hill and unincorporated Brooksville to County Road 476 (Centralia Road) in an area known as Royal Highlands.

SR 50A (Jefferson Street) is a spur of SR 50 that runs through downtown Brooksville, running concurrently with both US 41 and US 98 at points. CR 574 (Spring Hill Drive / CR 574) is a major county road running roughly parallel to both SR 50 and the border with Pasco County beginning by US 19, intersects the Suncoast Parkway, and ends at US 41.
It is bordered to the north and west by North Weeki Wachee, to the east by Brookridge, and to the south, across State Road 50, by Spring Hill. SR 50 leads east 8 miles (13 km) to Brooksville, the Hernando County seat, and west 4 miles (6 km) to its terminus at U.S. Route 19 in Weeki Wachee.
