Whenever I right click it, it takes me somewhere else instead of the usual options like deleting it. Also I try to drag it do the recycle bin it doesn’t do anything. I was having a bit of a problem with some text I had copied off the Web - I accidentally pasted a gray background, too, so the text looked as if it were highlighted. I was able to fix the problem simply by cutting it and repasting it, using a different paste setting, but I'd like to know if there's another way to resolve the problem I had.
