Upwords is a board game.It was originally manufactured and marketed by the Milton Bradley Company, then a division of Hasbro.It has been marketed under its own name and also as Scrabble Upwords in the United States and Canada, and Topwords, Crucimaster, Betutorony, Palabras Arriba and Stapelwoord in other countries.
The game unit has a LCD screen to display the words and buttons to start the timer, advance play, and assign points to teams. Teams must guess the entire phrase as displayed. A second edition of the electronic game with a changed appearance has a backlit LCD screen and a visual score display rather than the auditory score system.

The teams move round the board based on the number of words correctly guessed and occasional spinner bonuses.
