Seville is a town to the east of Melbourne, the capital city of Victoria, Australia, along the Warburton Highway, located within the Shire of Yarra Ranges local government area. Seville recorded a population of 2,559 at the 2021 census. [1] Seville sits within the Yarra Valley wine region.
In September 1990, the Chirnside Park Shopping Centre to Melbourne central business district portion of route 683 ceased. In December 2001 the original depot in the main street was replaced by one in East Warburton. The original depot was turned into a museum. The school currently leases the land formerly occupied by the railway, which connects the old school grounds south-west of the line with an extension on the north-east. The southern end of the deviation rises to meet the original alignment of the trail at a steep grade that makes it unsuitable for wheelchairs.
The school was built in 1871–72 for the landowner Rowland Egerton-Warburton of Arley Hall, and was designed by the Chester architect John Douglas. [2] It is constructed in brick with stone and terracotta dressings, and has a tiled roof. The building has three bays; from the left, the first two bays contain seven-light mullioned windows.

Chirnside is also the final resting place of Jim Clark, former world champion Formula One racing-car driver, who set up the Border Reivers (racing team). Close to the churchyard in which Clark is buried, there is a memorial plaque and clock at the side of the main road through the village.
