Part 1 - Call of the Wild: Jon brings Garfield, Odie, Nermal and the twins to a national park; once there, the pets meet three rambunctious raccoons. Part 2 - Into the Woods: Garfield and the others are stuck in the woods after the raccoons tie them up and steal their clothes, so they call their inner animal.
Garfield is kicked out of a pet shop and encounters Floyd, along with a dog being chased by a dimwitted animal catcher. The three animals show each other their imitations of the other's sounds (Garfield barks, Floyd meows, and the dog squeaks), and the trick helps them evade the animal catcher from the pound.
Garfield and Friends aired on that show up until its cancellation in 1992. The series was played on television in Singapore first airing on Channel 5 from 1990 to 1992 and later on Kids Central from 2004 to 2005. Odie is a yellow-furred, brown-eared dog described by Garfield to be a purebred clown and a dachshund in the live-action movies that resides with Jon and Garfield and is, at times, Garfield's best friend. The name came from a commercial written by Davis, which featured Odie the Village Idiot.
