"Dead Presidents" is a 1996 song by American rapper Jay-Z. It was released as the first promotional single for Jay-Z's debut album Reasonable Doubt, though it did not directly appear on the album: a different version of the song with the same backing track and chorus but with different lyrics called "Dead Presidents II" appeared on Reasonable Doubt.

The soundtrack was very successful, reaching #14 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, and was certified gold on December 1, 1995.
Danny Elfman comments on many of the selections in the liner notes that accompany the album, writing that Edward Scissorhands is one of his personal favorite scores, he wrote ten themes for The Nightmare Before Christmas, he performed guitar on To Die For, Dead Presidents was his first percussion-based score, and Freeway was his first "improvised" score.
