Union is a home-rule-class city in Boone County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 7,416 as of the 2020 United States Census. The area was rural until residential growth in the 1990s and 2000s. Union is located 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Cincinnati, Ohio. [4]
In April 1921, Superior Court Justice James J. Bergen was petitioned to appoint a temporary committee to study the feasibility of a parks commission. On April 30, a temporary commission was named and given $10,000.00 and two years to complete the study. Within five months, the group finished the study and returned $8,391.00 of the funds.
The man who was Kentucky’s first state parks commissioner can trace his ancestry back to the Reverend John Rogers, the first martyr of Queen Mary I’s reign in England.
Union County is a county in the U.S. state of Kentucky.As of the 2020 census, the population was 13,668. [1] Its county seat is Morganfield. [2] The county was created effective January 15, 1811.

[1] In 1905 a railroad company was formed to connect it to Tiptonville in Lake County, Tennessee. [6] Union City is at the junction of Union City Road, 374, Weller Parks Road, and Doylesville Road.
