Penticton (/ p ɛ n ˈ t ɪ k t ən / pen-TIK-tən) is a city in the Okanagan Valley of the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada, situated between Okanagan and Skaha lakes. In the 2016 Canadian Census , its population was 33,761, [ 2 ] while its census agglomeration population was 43,432.
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is in southern British Columbia, adjacent to the U.S. state of Washington.It is bounded by Fraser Valley Regional District to the west, Thompson-Nicola Regional District and Regional District of Central Okanagan to the north, Regional District of Kootenay Boundary to the east, and by Okanogan County, Washington to the south.

Todd Doherty MP (born 1968) is a Canadian politician who was elected as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada to represent the federal electoral district Cariboo—Prince George during the 2015 Canadian federal election. Penticton Herald is a local newspaper in Penticton, British Columbia, founded in 1906 by W. J. Clement. It was first known as Penticton Press and later changed to Penticton Herald in 1910. The Herald also publishes the Entertainment NOW TV Guide and Showcase Real Estate Guide. [1] [2] It is owned by Continental Newspapers.
The company's first project was the WhiteWater Waterslide and Recreation Complex in Penticton, Canada. In 1982, WhiteWater West acquired WhiteWater Composites. This was followed by the merger with Brookside Engineering in 1985 and Barr & Wray in 1987. In 1998, the company entered into a limited license agreement to manufacture FlowRiders.
