Ozark Actors Theatre was founded in 1987 by pianist Gail Andrews-Hintz and founding artistic director F. Reed Brown, [1] [2] with the help of actress Cindy Beger and her friend Kathy Pukas. [ 3 ] In 1993, the Cedar Street Playhouse became the home of Ozark Actors Theatre.

Among the high school's predecessor buildings was the Rolla Building that opened in 1871. It was shared with the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in its first year of existence. The college bought the building for $25,000 in 1875 and it remains in use as the school's mathematics library after being extensively renovated.
As of the census [10] of 2010, there were 539 people, 230 households, and 142 families living in the city. The population density was 829.2 inhabitants per square mile (320.2/km 2).
