Southside Park is, at 211 acres (0.85 km 2), the largest park in the City of Atlanta. [1] It is located along Jonesboro Road in the southern part of the city just north of the Perimeter (I-285) . Its rank as the city's largest park is set to be eclipsed by the new Westside Park at 351 acres (1.42 km 2 ).
