Għajn Tuffieħa (English: Riviera, lit. 'Spring of Apples') is a bay and sandy, red beach which is located in Mġarr, Malta. The bay is 345 metres (377 yd) south of Golden Bay. It is less busy than Golden Bay and often visited by Maltese natives as well as tourists. [1] To reach this beach, one needs to descend a hill on a staircase of 200 steps.
The town overlooks Mellieħa Bay, which includes Għadira Bay, the largest sandy beach in Malta. To the east of the town and bay, there is the Selmun peninsula, and St Paul's Islands lie about 80 metres off the coast.
