Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu is a 5-star resort owned by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts located on the island of Mactan, Cebu, Philippines.The hotel measures 13 hectares, has 541 guest rooms and suites, a 6-hole golf course, two outdoor swimming pools, a private man-made beach cove, and a 6-hectare marine sanctuary with over 100 kinds of fish and corals.

In a press conference on November 7, 2017, Tomas Osmeña, then the mayor of Cebu City, announced that Universal Hotels and Resorts, Inc. (UHRI), a subsidiary of JG Summit Holdings, had agreed to develop Kawit Point (formerly Kawit Island) in South Road Properties into an integrated resort and casino facility.
The main building, the 45-storey Fuente Tower 1, is one of the taller hotel buildings in the country at about 160 meters (520 feet). It used to be the tallest building in Cebu City [2] until it was eclipsed in 2015 by the first tower of Horizons 101, which stood at 178 metres (584 feet).
The Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino was opened in 1998, in time for the ASEAN Tourism Forum held within the same year [2] although plans for the hotel date back as early as 1993. [3] The Cebu City hotel is the second establishment opened under the Waterfront Hotel & Casino brand with the first being in Mactan island which opened in 1996.
