The Lamar Buffalo Ranch is a historic livestock ranch in the Lamar River valley of Yellowstone National Park, in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As an early contribution to the conservation of bison , it was created to preserve one of the last free-roaming American bison (buffalo) herds in the United States.
Wyoming Highway 223 (WYO 223) is a 5.69-mile-long (9.16 km) east–west state highway known as Terry Ranch Road in extreme southern Laramie County south of Cheyenne in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Wyoming. The highway is the former routing of U.S. Route 87 before it was relocated onto Interstate 25.
The Crow Creek-Cole Ranch Headquarters Historic District, in Laramie County, Wyoming near Cheyenne, dates from 1879. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009 as Crow Creek-Cole Ranch Headquarters Historic District [1] It has also been known as Cole Creek Ranch, as Gilchrist Ranch, and as Cole Ranch.

Today the TA Ranch is a working cattle ranch, guest ranch and restaurant but visitors are always welcome to view the barn and property free of charge.
